Today, we celebrate the incredible women in our team, our sport, and beyond. Hockey has always been a game of strength, skill, and resilience—just like the amazing women who play it. Under floodlit skies or in the sun’s bright gleam,
We chase the ball, we chase the dream.
With sticks in hand and fire inside,
We run as one, we play with pride.
The crack of wood, the flick, the pass,
The rush of wind as players dash.
A goal, a cheer, a fierce embrace,
This is our sport, our sacred space.
Through every match of sweat and strain,
We rise, we fall, we rise again.
In skorts or shorts, with grit and grace,
We make the field our fearless space.
So here’s to Wick, to every game,
To every voice that speaks our name.
