Our Wick Ladies 1st team secured a thrilling victory over Loughborough Students 5th's in the Championship Cup this past Sunday. It was a nail-biting match that kept everyone on the edge of their seats.

The win propels us into the 2nd round of the cup, and what a way to do it! Our very own Jo kicked off the scoring with a fantastic one-on-one goal in the first half, setting the tone for an intense game. Loughborough responded with a goal in the second half, but we quickly countered with a goal from Kate. The score was tied 2-2 after another Loughborough goal, and it could have gone either way as both teams battled fiercely.

In the end, it was Wick’s Zoe who sealed the victory with a decisive goal, making it 3-2 for us. The cheers from our supporters echoed across the field, creating a fantastic atmosphere throughout the match.
